Badminton School is one of the top girls' schools in the country and is currently listed as number 13 in one of the national league tables. 100% of students go onto university and 20% of our Sixth Form go onto Oxbridge. This year we had a 100% pass rate at GCSE and A Level with 94% of girls gaining just As and Bs. Girls at Badminton are encouraged to make the most of the many opportunities available to them and the confidence and enjoyment gained from extra-curricular activities and achievements and being part of a highly-motivated community underpins the school's academic success. Situated on an attractive and secure 20 acre campus in the university city of Bristol, all sporting, artistic and science facilities are on site. Girls here are encouraged to think independently, respect themselves and others, to value excellence and not to contemplate collective mediocrity. Badminton has small class sizes and some inspirational teachers who are highly committed to delivering a top class educational experience for the pupils. The school ethos is one of respecting yourself and others and Badminton is often described as friendly and welcoming by girls and parents who visit. Pupils here develop into interesting and confident young women and by the time they leave Badminton are well-rounded individuals ready to face life and all its challenges and are prepared to be citizens of the world.
