We have seldom seen such engaged children, with quiet learning in every room. Teachers are all smiles and energy – mainly young and energetic but some wise and older too, so well balanced by experience and thoughtfulness. Since the school opened in 2006, Magoo Giles, known universally and affectionately as Magoo. Married with two children, both of whom attended the school. Via Summer Fields, Eton, the Coldstream Guards and two years as personal equerry to the Queen, he spent six years as head of nearby Garden House Boys' School. If he wasn't a teacher from the off, he should have been - he exudes ebullience, dedication and high educational values. With the backing of 50 friends and family members, he got hold of the building on the corner of Lennox Gardens and Pont Street - formerly home of the Hellenic College - and began to create a dream come true.
