You can pretty much always see the ocean or the mountains anywhere in Vancouver and the campus is no exception....UBC is looking for students who can do the work here (“readiness for university studies”), so they look at a broad range of criteria - from academic performance in specific subjects, the strength of their overall program of studies, community contributions and activities both in and out of school etc. So you’ll be asked about your extracurriculars, and expected to write some short essays on your application.
