There is a multitude of options open to all young people when they leave school but as we all know choice can often be a daunting prospect.

Trying to work out what next can be confusing for both parents and school leavers who often see the world in a very different way to their parents.

Our Careers Guidance Consultants are fully qualified (level 6) and they can help you find answers and encourage you to take the next step with confidence.

So, whether you are a young person needing advice about which is the right path for you, a parent wanting to support your child, a recent graduate struggling to get your first job or an adult reviewing your career, we can help.

The GSG Careers Consulting is a comprehensive, bespoke service, delivered by Careers Advice Ltd, for young people making choices about education, training or work.   We coach individuals to get on track so that they are motivated and able to pursue a successful career.

Complete package, 6 sessions

Clients who present with a complex range of issues to resolve, or who have lost direction, should opt for this comprehensive service, which enables a deep exploration of barriers to progression and extended support in resolving and overcoming those barriers. Our careers consultants have knowledge and experience of supporting clients with complex issues, which may include: long-term inertia; anxiety and/or depression and difficulties in identifying skills and strengths. Ongoing support and advice for six months after the last session is included in this package.

We also offer a number of standalone 1-hour packages that address a single issue.

The session will offer the client key tips and a checklist of actions to identify key elements of a personal brand and how to promote and preserve it.

Graduate Jobs

This session will engage the client in an hour of consultation covering all aspects of graduate recruitment, from ‘milkrounds’ to how to handle rejection and will be of most benefit to a client who has not yet begun their final year of undergraduate study. The session will offer the client key tips and a checklist of actions to support progression in applying successfully for a university place. If a client has identified courses or universities, the session will focus on those options.

Interested in maths and science? Enjoy problem solving? For those for whom adventure and living away from home are more attractive options than staying on at school after GCSEs, RAF engineering apprenticeships offer outstanding training in an exceptionally supportive environment.
