BSB Sanlitun is a special school. Established over 20 years ago, the school has a strong reputation and a proven history of success.

Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do and shapes every decision. We are a non-selective school which believes every child can reach their full potential with the support and guidance of our qualified, experienced and passionate teachers.

We deliver a sought-after British curriculum, taught in English, on a well-equipped, modern and safe campus. For children with little or no English, a rigorous and structured English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme accelerates their language acquisition. Chinese language is also taught for both beginners and native speakers. We also offer German for our native German speakers.

Specialist teachers lead lessons in performing arts and sport. Our collaborations with The Juilliard School for performing arts and MIT for STEM and our membership in the Nord Anglia Education global network provide exceptional teaching and wide-ranging global opportunities.

Our older students benefit from a dedicated upper primary space, an enrichment programme, and a hub designed to prepare them for secondary education. All children enjoy access to fantastic facilities, including two dining halls, two performance spaces, two libraries, a dance studio, a student kitchen, two Makerspaces, a science lab, an art studio, three large playgrounds, a music room, a green screen room, a basketball court, a football pitch, a gym and access to a nearby swimming pool.

Beyond the classroom, students take part in day trips, residential trips and a comprehensive after-school activity programme, helping them discover new interests, make friends and develop personal qualities such as independence, confidence and responsibility.
