The school excels in producing children of character, integrity and grit. Camaraderie among staff and pupils is very high and it has remained a small, family-orientated school where children are genuinely happy. Good, old-fashioned manners are appreciated and children are taught to walk tall, look people in the eye and speak the truth – in short, they are 'delightful', as many visitors to the school remark after a tour by the children.
If parents can cope with having their children away from home so much (and Pembroke kids certainly can cope with this), it’s a great place to spend the formative years.
