Established in 1995, this co-ed, day school offers instruction based on the English National Curriculum.  Ages 2-17, approximately 580 students total.  Administers the IGCSE.  Member, British International Schools Worldwide (BISW) and the Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia and East Asia (FOBISSEA). 

American International School Vietnam (AIS)

Private, non-denominational, curriculum based on the IB PYP, MYP, and Diploma Programmes.  Co-ed, ages 2-18, 860 students total representing 30 nationalities.  Secondary Level English Proficiency Test (SLEP) is administered to students applying to Grades 8 through 12, but admission is non-selective.  Use the IGCSE, A Level, and IB exams.  Accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS).  7.45am – 14.40pm.

Opened in August 2007.  English medium school will cater to students in Pre-K through Year 13 (initially only to Year 10 with one year added annually).  IB Diploma Programme pending; will use the framework of the English National Curriculum.
