As you’d expect with the head’s background, music is big, with a popular choir, orchestra and a range of ensembles. Football, rugby (tag), cricket, rounders and netball are the main sports, with girls and boys taught together. Parents report a spirit of fair play. Teaching here is fun. Head

Since 2016, Dan Peters (40s). Previously acting head for six months and before that deputy head for a year. With all the bounce and energy of Tigger, he is a (Covid permitting) high fives in the corridor kind of head, and the pupils adore him. ‘So fun!’ exclaimed one, who added that, ‘he’s always around – I love it when he pops into lessons.’ A hit with parents too, one calling him ‘the best thing since sliced bread because he sets the tone perfectly for such a nurturing school.’
