What the school says...

Quality but expensive college located in the heart of Kensington, London. Class sizes never exceed ten. Offers a wide range of subjects with great flexibility in subject combinations. Can organise accommodation in local hostels and host families although not a boarding school.

Principal

Since 1981, Michael (Mike) Kirby BApSc MSC (60s), who founded the college. Mr Kirby read aerospace engineering in Toronto (he retains a soft Canadian burr) and Birkbeck where he did a masters in statistics. Very tall, laconic and seemingly inscrutable, but a warmth and a smile escape him occasionally and the man is momentarily revealed. After 32 years, unsurprisingly, he and his school mirror each other. Focused and clear-sighted, he has made a place where little distracts from work but where the work ethic
