Special Education Needs
Francis Holland School, Regent's Park, aims to offer all students who join the school the opportunity to fulfil their academic potential. The Head of Learning Enhancement (SENCo) leads a small team of specialist and experienced teachers who work with individual pupils for defined periods of time according to learning need. We also run a screening programme to help us identify any potential learning issues. All subject teachers are made aware of each student's specific educational needs and are given recommendations as to the most effective teaching strategies. We recognise that the most successful student outcomes result from effective communication between school, home, and student.
