Special Education Needs
The SENCO/Head of Learning Support holds the Diploma in SpLD. Staff receive training, strategies and information to support students with specific learning difficulties. Three Learning Support Assistants, two of whom hold the Cert in SpLD, provide support in class and monitor students learning. Whitgift has a designated Learning Support area where individual and small group teaching and learning takes place.
