What the school says...

Entrance examinations for entry at ages 11-13 consist of: 11 - 3 VR exams administered by the LEA. Entry at Yr 10 and above by application to the school. The school is listed by Ofsted as an outstanding school having received exemplary inspection reports in 1999 and 2005. In October 2006 the Business and Economics Departments were inspected by Ofsted and graded as outstanding. In addition to academic excellence the school excels at sport and is extremely proud of the friendly and positive ethos which prevails.

Head

Since September 2016, Tracey Hartley, previously deputy and interim head of Nonsuch High, where she worked for 10 years. Has also been head of history and head of sixth form in various co-ed schools. Originally from Canada, she started out at Mr Kipling delivering cakes around the country, with her first job being in south Bucks, before turning to history teaching. Sport and the arts fill her spare time: having lived in Scotland and Manchester, she has spent Saturdays at Murrayfield and Old Trafford.
