Since 2009, Dr Dorian Lewis (40s), previously deputy head at mixed comprehensive, Queen Elizabeth, Wimborne, notching up experience managing curriculum, doing the National Qualification for Head Teachers. A chemistry graduate from Southampton (did his PhD there too), originating from Wales, taught at Thomas Hardye school in Dorchester until appointed to head of science at Wimborne.
Married with three children in local schools, he relishes his teaching, taking extra chemistry for exam years and thriving on personal contact with staff, pupils and parents. A smiling...
