What the school says...
A true community school in the heart of rural West Berkshire. The school has expanded rapidly in the past few years on the back of strong examination results and effective leadership. The school has achieved the highest percentage of students achieving 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths of any state school in West Berkshire four years running as well as the best A*-B rate at A-Level in the area.
The Sixth Form is a real beacon of excellence with seven students achieving Oxbridge places in 2012 out of 79 university applicants and 50% of all university applicants gaining places at Russell Group universities.
