What the school says...

At Gosfield School you will find a community of happy pupils and dedicated staff. Their aim is to ensure that all the young people not only fulfil their academic potential but develop into well-rounded, confident and caring individuals. Pupils range in age from 2 to 18, all of them growing at their own pace, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities. As well as superb parkland and sports fields, including a cricket pavilion, pupils benefit from well-equipped classrooms in the lovely Georgian Manor which houses the Senior School or the purpose built Prep School and Nursery. Work has recently begun on the new Performing Arts Centre, featuring a 320-seat theatre, a practice and performance auditorium and classrooms which will be open September 2022. At Gosfield, all pupils are valued and encouraged to be the best they can be - in their academic work, in sport, outdoor activities and the creative and performing arts. Calm and approachable, he is very visible around the school and nearly always to be found on the boundary at cricket matches. Close-to-home experience of SEN: dyslexia and autism run in the family. ‘SEN, wellbeing and inclusivity are not a bolt-on here, they’re in the school’s DNA, because we want the children to thrive, grow...

Please note: Independent schools frequently offer IGCSEs or other qualifications alongside or as an alternative to GCSE. The DfE does not record performance data for these exams so independent school GCSE data is frequently misleading; parents should check the results with the schools.
