What The Good Schools Guide says..
‘A lot of the kids are not that academic but the school brings out the best in them’, said a parent. The emphasis on building confidence produces comfortable well-adjusted children who are happy to strike up a conversation with anyone,...
What the school says...
The school is dynamic and small enough to provide a disciplined and caring environment, with small class sizes giving pupils the opportunity to fulfil their potential within a friendly community. Most pupils achieve more than their potential suggests on entry.
'Dover College believes in developing confidence and individual talents'.
Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Special Education Needs
Dover College has an Individual Needs Department, fully staffed by trained professionals, which provides one-to-one withdrawal lessons for pupils with not only specific needs (eg dyslexia) but also those who need a little extra support for self esteem, organisational difficulties etc. We are accredited by CReSTeD. We also have a fully staffed International Study Centre which offers small class tuition for overseas pupils entering the school. Pupils in the ISC participate fully in mainstream lessons when they are competent English users, and are always full members of the school for all other activities. 10-09
