Special Education Needs
In the Lower school, we tend to concentrate on basic numeracy,literacy and spelling skills if these are weak. This is with a view to enabling the student to study more independently. However, all lessons are carefully planned to suit the needs of the individual. Once we feel that reading and spelling skills are being mastered, we tend to focus on study skills which incorporate learning strategies, information retrieval, revision and exam techniques. We value each pupil as an individual and appreciate that they all have different needs and problems. We are totally committed to trying to achieve the very best for each student in our care.
