Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

All pupils are screened on entry to the school to establish their academic profile. Those pupils who are identified as having special educational needs - whether gifted and talented or in need of extra support - are given an Individual Education Plan. This IEP is created in consultation with parents and is reviewed every 6 - 12 months. The school offers specialist dyslexia support given in the form of one to one lessons. In addition the school has teaching assistants and a learning support assistant who offer lessons in small groups. The school has experience of pupils with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger's syndrome and non-verbal reasoning difficulties. The school has also educated pupils with statemented needs.
