What the school says...

Message from The Principal
I am delighted to welcome you to Iceni Academy. We are passionate about excellence
in education and recognise that outstanding teaching and learning transforms lives and
communities.
We believe, strongly, in the mission of our sponsor, AcademyTransformation Trust:
All children deserve a first class education
All schools can be transformed to being judged as outstanding
All pupils can and should, leave education well prepared for their life ahead academically, personally, emotionally and professionally
All of our staff feel valued and supported in reaching their full professional potential.
Iceni Academy is aiming to build on the foundations of the predecessor school to rapidly become an outstanding learning environment. Our vision for Iceni Academy is to
create a truly personalised learning culture that thrives on aspirational standards, shared values of excellence, respect, success and enjoyment, innovative learning and teaching and
high standards of uniform, discipline and engagement. Iceni Academy will be a centre of excellence that sits at the heart of the community.
We aim to:
Plan, deliver and assess outstanding lessons
Develop a personalised curriculum that supports individual needs and allows for challenge and acceleration
Create regular and robust assessment procedures that accurately track your childs progress
Deliver a program of high quality enrichment sessions, in academic, cultural and sports
Allow opportunities for educational visits and visitors to the Academy.
Our mission is to ensure that all young people educated at Iceni fulfil their potential and leave fully equipped with the qualifications, skills, professional and social attributes necessary to be successful in whatever they wish to do. We understand that young people have only one chance at secondary education and believe it is our moral duty to ensure it is of the very highest calibre.
This is an exciting time for Iceni Academy. I have an inspirational, ambitious and dynamic team with a commitment to transformational leadership, raising standards and improving
attainment. This will be fundamental to the success of our Academy, turning it into the school of first choice and a centre of excellence. We have the desire, experience and
vision to deliver a platinum standard of education to the pupils and community and look forward to discussing our ambitious plans for the future with you on your visit.
I very much look forward to meeting and working with you to develop your childs potential.
Gee Cook, Principal.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
