Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
What The Good Schools Guide saysOne set of parents, used to stopping for stiff drink on way home after parent-teacher meetings at previous school, switched to champagne celebration after coming here. Others, struggling to meet fees, don’t begrudge a single penny. School has got back the boy nobody else could reach. ‘They’ve literally turned his life round and ours as well.’
Since September 2015, Jonathan Hetherington BA MSc (30s) previously deputy head in charge of boarding. An English graduate who quit PGCE training first time round as ‘wasn’t ready’, was persuaded into the school by head of music (a Southampton Uni contemporary) initially to help with productions, then into English department, finally qualifying as a teacher through work-based graduate training programme and becoming head of boarding in 2011.

Special Education Needs
Remediation across the curriculum is individually planned. Language processing improved by five speech and language therapists. Occupational Therapy available. All staff attend specialised training to give a common approach. Although there is often a hidden remedial component to classwork, the aim is to give all boys a normal, happy experience of school.
