From January 2024, Robin Harskin. After reading modern languages at the University of Oxford he continued his studies at University College London, spending a year teaching at the Sorbonne in Paris and attaining his PhD in French poetry in 1996.
His teaching career has taken him to Sevenoaks School, King's College School in Wimbledon, Magdalen College School, where he was head of modern languages, and two prep schools in Oxford, Summer Fields and Christ Church Cathedral School, where he was academic deputy/director of studies on both occasions. He has also taken time away from teaching, firstly returning to the University of Oxford to complete an MPhil in politics, and secondly to write a novel based on the true story of his Jewish family's flight from Russia at the end of...
