Principal

Since September 2015, Mrs Elaine Taylor, previously vice principal. She joined the college in 2009 from St Francis Xavier College, where she had been assistant principal.

Academic Matters

Whilst around three-quarters of the students follow traditional A level courses, St Charles also offers BTecs, certificates and diplomas, vocational courses and foundation skills in English and mathematics. The college also offers GCSE retakes for those wanting to improve their grades. More able students can take the Extended Project Qualification.
