Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
Lambs Lane Primary School is a mainstream school catering for children from 5 to 11 years of age. We have a resource for physically disabled children which at the moment provides for up to 10 children. We are a single form entry school and all of our resource children are based within the appropriate year group. Children from the resource work with their class mates for the majority of the time although there are opportunities for children to receive physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language provision in line with the requirements of their statements. We have a teacher-in-charge of the resource who is in close liaison with class teachers and class teaching assistants and if appropriate can initiate interventions for literacy or maths. Careful consideration is also given to the resources made available to children so that they can fully access the curriculum. A full-time welfare assistant sees to the medical needs of the children. In line with our inclusion policy we also have children with other disabilities including Asperger's syndrome, autism, dyslexia and speech and language disorders.
