Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
Chestnut Street CE primary school has a very good reputation for supporting children with special needs. We have experience in supporting a wide range of needs, having at present 13 children with statements for a wide range of issues. This is testimony to the number of parents with children with statements who positively choose this school for their children. Our last two OFSTED reports singled out SEN provision as 'excellent' and 'very good', and our SENCO is very experienced and has excellent contact with all agencies supporting SEN in Lincolnshire. We are a fully inclusive school and have entered into partnership with a special school in order to provide a child with significant needs an opportunity to be in mainstream education for part of the week. We are also very fortunate to have an excellent team of teaching assistants with expertise in supporting children with SEN. Our SENCO is recognised by the LA for her very good practice and has been consulted on many aspects of SEN provision.
