Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

At Glan-y-Mor School, we see every child as an individual. In this way, we can get to know a child's potential and provide for his/her individual needs whether underachieving or gifted and talented. Our aim is to include all pupils within the life of the school. We achieve this by providing a holistic approach to all aspects of a child's learning. In the January 2004 Estyn report, Inspectors noted that: 'The arrangements made to identify pupils who need support are thorough with very good links with primary schools leading to early identification in Year 7'. A team of specialist experienced teachers, highly trained staff and school Counsellor provide academic, social, emotional and behavioural support to pupils. Support is provided in mainstream classes, dedicated teaching rooms and, if needed, during unstructured periods. In our last inspection, the findings were: 'The provision for pupils with S.E.N. is good and the school's response to the requirements of the Code of Practice is very good ... All pupils with S.E.N. leave school with appropriate accreditation.'
