What the parents say...

Glyncoed Primary is what you want for your child if you're looking for a successful, caring environment. The school is a top performing green category school. And it's not just about the great teaching and strong results. Thats great if you want your child to do well in their exams at secondary school. Glyncoed does more than just prepare children for the step up to High school study. The amazing staff think about the children as young people who will be tackling the challenges of peer pressure, a whole world of information at their finger tips - and the smart thinking that our kids need to be equipped with. The school is secular though it does have compulsory daily 'Worship', it's not really religious and is pretty much about having a good moral compass whatever your rrligion (or non religion). The school staff runs loads of after school activities for pupils and whole familes. They put on adult education for their parents as well eg refresher maths, helping with homework. But also things like pottery! Glyncoed doesn't have a drop off zone and encourages families to walk to school but there are bustops right outside with regular Cardiff buses. Lots of green school fields and playgrounds for lots of outside play and learning. The staff including the head Mrs Beevers are really approachable and have lots of time for genuine questions/concerns. The governors are very involved and four parents governors put the parent point of view. The building is open plan. It's a two class entry including an amazing Nursery. Security is tight and the caretaker is really friendly.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
