What the school says...

The school was opened in April 1969. It is a modern building occupying a large corner site in Moyard Gardens, Greenisland. Accomodation comprises 7 classrooms, a newly developed nursery unit, a fully equipped PE hall, which is also used as the Assembly Hall and Dining Room, a recently refurbished library/computer room, staff room, stores and offices. A school meals kitchen, which has been awarded membership of the Healthy Eating Circle, operates on the premises.
At Silverstream we aim to offer your child a wide range of activities in order to provide a full and balanced education. We believe in hard work and good scholarship in class, with pupils being encouraged to reach the highest standards within their capacity.
As we are a small school your child will have the advantage of being in a small class where the pupil teacher ratio averages 1 to 23.
