Once through the gate, it’s like entering a portal into another world. The atmosphere is like no other we’ve experienced in tours around many decent special schools. That’s to do with the physical environment, nothing short of idyllic. But it’s also down to an approach which makes such blinding sense. Since 2018, Stuart Provan. With his appointment and the retirement of the school's former five joint co-ordinators, the school has moved from the traditional Camphill Community model of management as a team affair, to a more hierarchical structure.

Provan is joined at the helm by Jim Alexander as head of care, and Miriam Puccianti as head of education.

Provan's career spans a broad range of social care
settings, working in a number of residential schools including as head of care, and as house manager within care homes. He has also managed a family
centre, supporting families whose children have additional needs.
