At Fernhill School, we aim to provide a safe and secure environment where your child can achieve their true potential. We accept both boys and girls from nursery age and they are able to progress through both primary and secondary departments. We provide: small classes, a wide range of activities; excellent results; a beautiful environment; transportation from all major areas in Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
The secondary department has classes in all major academic subject.

Other features
All-through school (for example 3-18 years). - An all-through school covers junior and senior education. It may start at 3 or 4, or later, and continue through to 16 or 18. Some all-through schools set exams at 11 or 13 that pupils must pass to move on.
Choir school - substantial scholarships and bursaries usually available for choristers.

Since September 2019, Mark Donnelly. Born and educated in Lanarkshire. Prior to teaching, he was a renowned classical singer and recitalist and has been the guest of many leading choral societies and orchestras, with performances in recital and oratorio taking him to the Barbican Centre and the Wigmore Hall, London, the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, the Cowdray Hall, Aberdeen and the Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Internationally, Rome, Versailles, Salzburg, Beijing, Shanghai, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC can be added to the list. He is also founder and conductor of the Bothwell Philharmonic Choir.
But teaching and education increasingly beckoned and between singing engagements he worked in several local schools supporting their music curriculum, later leading to him being seconded to his local authority education service to develop the music curriculum....
