What the school says...

Boys must be registered before their second birthday for entry into Reception each academic year. After this point registration on the Occasional Places Register is necessary for consideration for assessment for rarely occuring places in later year groups.

Since 2013, Christopher Godwin, previously head of Bedford Prep. Read geography at Loughborough, then master’s in Middle Eastern studies at Durham. Joined Bedford in 1993 as second master and director of studies before taking over the headship four years later. Special Education Needs

We have a small number of part-time specialist staff to provide learning support to boys with dyspraxia and dyslexia. There is a full-time coordinator to oversee this. We also specifically cater for reading and writing problems not on the dyslexia spectrum.
