What the school says...

West House is a school with a happy, caring atmosphere and over a century of academic, sporting and musical success. Our aim is to combine the best of our traditions with an education which will prepare pupils for their future.

What the parents say...

Disappointed that West House hasn't, as yet, had a review on GSG. Anyway, son is in Y4 and is happy and doing well. His sister went through the whole "Edgbaston education thing," (on an academic scholarship at KEHS). We had put him down for the nearest good state school but the catchment radius worked out at 500m. I reckon that we needed to move into the caretakers house to get him accepted! In retrospect, best thing that happened. After visiting all the independent schools in birmingham we sent him to West House. Best decision we ever made! Thus, good points:- Wrap around education/care. Each child is treated as an individual The school and parents are a family. Academic achievement is excellent and the children appear not to be "hot housed." Absolute accessibility to all of the staff at all times from the Headmaster down. It's good for boys - they are different! I initially had reservations about the schools academic success, but the results speak for themselves, and all this within an excellent and otherwise well rounded education - you can't beat it in Birmingham! Alistair, I trust that the cheque will be in the post soon!

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
