What the school says...

Foremarke Hall enjoys excellent day and boarding facilities. Set in 50 acres in the Derbyshire countryside, Foremarke has outstanding facilities that include a 6 lane, 25m heated indoor pool, a full size, floodlit astroturf, a large sports hall and a fully equipped theatre that seats over 200 people. Since 2011, Mr Richard Merriman, previously headmaster of Birchfield School, co-ed prep near Wolverhampton, for 12 years, and before that head for a year of Wolborough Hill School in Devon. BSc in PE and sports science with education from Loughborough; MA in English local history from Leicester. Began his career teaching PE in Canterbury before moving to Clayesmore School as head of boys' PE and housemaster, then to Kimbolton School as director of sport. Has played cricket and hockey at county level.
