Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

The Darley Centre supports the Secondary Schools of North Lincolnshire with Key Stage 3 pupils who have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. Pupils remain on their school role, attend The Darley Centre for an agreed period of time, up to two terms, followed by re-integration into full-time permanent educational provision. Pupils are referred via an LEA Admissions Panel of Local Secondary Headteachers and LEA Officers. Pupils approved for placement follow a pre-placement planning procedure to ensure all individual needs will be addressed. A regular Individual Education (IEP) review process ensures that pupil’s progress is recorded, monitored and shared with all relevant parties. An individually matched curriculum aims to provide each pupil with mainstream school coping strategies for successful re-integration wherever possible. The five outcomes from Every Child Matters – Be Healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy and Achieve, Make a Positive Contribution and Achieve Economic Well Being remain at the heart of the curriculum. We also aim to improve the provision we offer through a process of continual self assessment, evaluating the quality of:- • teaching • curriculum and other activities • leadership and management • achievements and standards • personal development and well being • the care, guidance and support for learners • overall effectiveness.
