Henshaws College is a further education College for both residential and day students with learning difficulties and disabilities. The college specialises in visual impairment.

Henshaws College empowers students to:

The emphasis is on seeing the ability in every student and maximising their learning potential by offering the appropriate support to enable each student to achieve their goals, increase their independence, confidence and self-esteem.

Special Education Needs

The college caters primarily for young people with visual impairments and additional or complex needs. There is good wheelchair access. It is no longer vital to have a primary diagnosis of VI - contact the college for information.
