What the school says...
Eastfield Primary is a school fully committed to equality of provision. We do not have specific Special Needs classes, but the high ratio of support assistants and adults to children successfully manages and integrates children with a variety of academic, medical and behavioural problems to the benefit of all children. We strongly support the Arts and have a tradition of musical and theatrical events. ...Read more

Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
One third of the children in our school receive 1:1 or small group support from the SENCO and her team of 14 Support Assistants. The ratio of available adult to child help is high for an ordinary Primary school. We have had a spectrum of Special Needs disabilities over the years and the team are very experienced and have many skills. Staff are continuously updating qualifications and learning new skills. All our children take part in the full curriculum and extra activities. It is a happy caring environment where children enjoy their studies and value their time with adults. Children, who start in our Nursery make significant progress in school.
