First time around, Mr Faber went from here to Eton, Oxford (Balliol) and into the Conservative party (the same route as grandfather Harold Macmillan PM); served as an MP from 1992 until 2001. Principle hobbies are cricket (practically a prerequisite here), golf, real tennis, Chelsea Football Club. A governor at Harrow. About to become a trustee of the MCC.
