What the school says...
Set close to the centre of the picturesque market town of Faringdon, Ferndale is housed in an elegant grade II listed Georgian building with some added purpose-built facilities on the site. Boys and girls enter the popular nursery at 3 years old and remain through to age eleven.
The school values its pupils as individuals, and the family atmosphere that exists there, coupled with its experienced specialist staff leads to a high success rate for pupils transferring to their chosen secondary schools at 11.
Ferndale celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2002 and has enjoyed many years of success as well as an excellent local reputation. In addition to the curriculum, an extended day, and many extra-curricular activities are available to pupils, as well as educational visits. Transport is available to and from various locations in the surrounding area. ...Read more
