Since September 2016, Mr Richard Brown MA PGCE (40s), previously head of Dorset House. Educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford and at Oxford Brookes, where he read English and law. After five and a half years as an officer in the Royal Dragoon Guards, he took an MA in English and education at Reading University and a PGCE at Roehampton. Special Education Needs
Handcross Park provides support for pupils with mild to moderate learning difficulties. Pupils receive this support to help with overcoming difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia. One-to-one support is provided during the week and the Learning Support Department ensures that teachers are aware of any additional measures that need to be taken to help these children in the learning environment.
