What says..

Project-based learning allows differentiation for a wide ability span. School refusers and the demand-avoidant start here as it doesn’t feel like school; for example a recent topic, ‘animals of the sea’, gave flexibility of child enquiry within a framework of literacy and maths without making obvious demands.
