What the school says...

Our aim is to make every pupil's experience exciting and fulfilling and one they will look back at with genuine happiness. We are set in the glorious surroundings of the Sussex countryside where girls and boys are able to develop their love for learning in a safe and caring environment. We are part of the Woodard foundation and as such the Christian values of tolerance and forgiveness for others underpin all that we do here.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

Headmaster

Since 2007, Chris Calvey BEd (40s), previously deputy head at Bishopsgate. Energetic and approachable. There is a gentleness about him – it is easy to see that children would trust him very quickly: beaming smiles and chorused greetings as we toured the school. A parent described the head as ‘quite incredible – he knows and cares about every child.’ When they were being shown around the school, the head apparently asked a boy who was staring out the window, not paying attention, a question, which he
