Since 2013, Mrs Katherine Anderson (50s), previously acting head. Hasn't strayed far from Durham High: was a pupil here in the 70s and daughter followed in her footsteps; BEd from Neville's Cross Physical Education College in Durham; brief spell teaching PE at a comprehensive school then back to Durham High in 1986 as head of senior school PE. Has been here ever since, in roles including director of marketing and head of junior house. Husband, Richard, is an agricultural engineer.
At 3+, 4+, 7+ and 10+: by age appropriate assessment; nursery: by informal assessment through play. Takes just above average ability.
