What the school says...

The Junior School at Norwich High School for Girls is situated in its own self-contained building, Stafford House and maintains its own identity and character. The academic education we offer is of the very highest quality in all areas of the curriculum and a sense of fun, enjoyment and enthusiasm pervades all we do. We offer our girls every opportunity not only to develop their own particular talents and skills, be they academic, sporting, musical or artistic but also to become productive and caring members of a community. We do this by offering lots of activities to help them to establish strong friendships which will often last into adulthood and by looking for ways to become involved in the local community.

All-through school (for example 3-18 years). - An all-through school covers junior and senior education. It may start at 3 or 4, or later, and continue through to 16 or 18. Some all-through schools set exams at 11 or 13 that pupils must pass to move on.

Head of Juniors

Since September 2016, Nick Tiley-Nunn, previously deputy head at The Old School Henstead. BA in primary education from Canterbury Christ Church; has also taught at Woodbridge School and been assistant head at Radnor House. He is a regional lead for primary maths and author of 'How to teach primary maths - anyone can feed sweets to sharks'.
