What the school says...

A wealth of opportunities are offered to give girls a broad learning experience. High standards coupled with an enriching environment mesh together to create a superb educational journey for all our pupils.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

At Queen's Lower School we try to ensure that we provide a very supportive learning environment for all our pupils. We do not have many pupils with specific learning difficulties but those who have been identified receive regular support from a qualified teacher of Special Needs. Our SENCo helps to identify those pupils who require extra support and where necessary an IEP is drawn up with staff, pupils and parents. All class lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of individuals and learning styles are identified and used to help inform our planning of the curriculum; those pupils whom we have identified as 'Gifted and Talented' are also carefully supported. Challenge clubs and activities which excite and stretch the pupils mentally, are also available. Our school ethos is to support and care for all pupils and ensure that self-esteem is preserved and developed in all. Nov 09
