What says..

Attracts parents who are less interested in the London schools ‘rat race’ and prefer the idea of a more informal and liberal approach. Teaching is relationships-based and teachers and pupils are (quite proudly) on first-name terms – head calls it ‘purposeful informality’, underscored by the lack of uniform. Superb indoor and outdoor theatres, with shows deliberately educational, eg the recent History of Christmas prep show looked at the Christmas period from the Stone Age to the Greeks and Victorians. A key selling point for many is the French immersion programme from…

What the school says...

Hampton Court House is an award-winning independent co-educational day school for ages 2 – 18, educating children in Pre-Nursery to students in Year 13. The majority of our pupils elect to stay on to complete their full education with us, enjoying great success in their GCSEs and A Levels.

Our programmes offer an extraordinary education. From the Forest School in Early Years and the award-winning LabelFrancÉducation accredited French bilingual programme, to the Nebula Future Researcher’s Programme © in the Sixth Form, Hampton Court House pupils get a head start every step of the way.

We strive to lay the foundations of a lifelong love of learning, and it is important to us that children enjoy being here and look forward to coming to school. In keeping with our ethos, we believe that children need some guided freedom in order to develop their independence and confidence to use their voice. Our non-uniform parkland campus environment, in which staff and pupils alike are addressed on a first-name basis, cultivates an energy where our pupils can explore their individuality and style with taste and discretion.
