All prospective pupils must have an EHCP. Doesn't cater for global learning difficulties, although accepts those with conditions such as dyslexia or dyscalculia.
What level of behavioural difficulties will cause the school to refuse a place? 'Children who have a history of aggression towards other pupils', we were told. Many have kicked a teacher or hit out at staff, but school won't accept students who have a record of persistently bullying other children. Will provide one-to-one behavioural support on short-term basis only; it's not secure accommodation.
Takes pupils from anywhere in the country. No waiting list - if they think they can help, your child will be offered a place, funding permitting.
