I have dedicated 25 years to education through teaching and leadership roles, including educational research. I have worked regionally and nationally as a Senior Education Advisor and Head of Life-Long Learning, leading on initiatives, programmes and qualifications that have been rolled out nationally. I have secured millions of pounds of capital funding for projects including new schools and colleges.
I believe that good education provides new and life changing opportunities and have worked tirelessly to ensure equality of access for a diverse range of children and young people to a curriculum with real qualification and skills outcomes that meet the needs of individuals, preparing them for adulthood. ...Read more
