What the school says...

EF Academy International Boarding Schools, with campuses in New York in the U.S., and Torbay and Oxford in the UK, offers students from around the world a superior education abroad, thorough university preparation and access to a future that knows no borders.

High school students between the ages of 14 and 19 can choose from the internationally recognized IGCSE, IB and A-Level programs, and they receive support, guidance and instruction from highly qualified teachers and counselors. Guidance counselors not only offer academic support, but they also comfort and encourage students throughout their time with us and ensure their well-being. The leaders of our university guidance team have experience as admissions officers at top universities and they use this experience to help each individual student apply to the schools that suit them best. The expert university guidance offered at our schools is an important factor behind our students’ 100% acceptance rate to university degree programs.

Our students live in secure student residences with lounge areas and quiet study rooms. House parents live alongside students in the dormitories and ensure that they are safe and cared for. At our schools in Torbay and Oxford, students can choose to live with a local host family that has been screened and vetted by EF Academy staff.

At our schools, students are free to pursue their passions and we strongly encourage them to complement their studies with co-curricular activities. We have more than 120 clubs and activities across our schools, this includes a variety of varsity sports, subject-specific clubs, academic competitions, leadership opportunities and cultural excursions.

As students explore ideas and perspectives in class and during activities with peers from 75 different countries, they become open-minded, confident global citizens equipped with the skills they need to achieve their goals and succeed at university, and beyond.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
