Breaks for Toussaint (two weeks beginning in the second half of October), Christmas (just over two weeks, starting a week before Christmas day), Winter break (mid February for just over two weeks), Spring break (first half of April for one week). Note that May is punctuated by public holidays: May Day, Armistice, Ascension and Pentecost.
