Special Education Needs
The special educational needs provision is centred on a sound and caring environment in which every child is encouraged to achieve their best. Early assessment ensures that the need for support can be quickly established. This takes the form of extra dyslexia tuition for younger children and study support through GCSE and A level years by highly qualified, dedicated specialist teachers. Study support plays a central role in the standard of academic achievement in the school and can provide a secure base, where pupils can receive guidance and help to enable them to function to the best of their ability in the classroom and in public examinations.
