Before you listen to the above parent stop and think and get all the facts. Ark conway although a new school, are actually doing really well. I think making comments like the above only 2 months after opening is very unfair. The children do reading, english, maths every day, they also do performing arts, p.e on most days, swimming and french, on top of other subjects, so i don@t know where the above parent is getting there information from. All i can say, is that if your child is not ready, maybe you should try also reading at home with them, as they do get 2 books every week to learn, also there flash cards. My child is doing perfectly fine, from starting in september and can already read. Its all about home to school learning, so before going putting horrible untrue messages up look closer too home first.

I was exited to learn a new free school was opening in my area. Much to my disappointment, this school is very much like any other council school. If your child is more able chances are, they will be bored and will go unchallenged. A lot of time is spent on play and singing, but not much on reading, math and science. If you are just looking for a space, then Ark Conway is fine, if you are looking for a school that will challenge and help your child reach full potential, this school falls well short of that mark.
